Aprende a iniciar una conversación sencilla en Español
Description
This lesson is ideal for beginner students. It is focused on children but it can be adapted to adults as well by changing the puppet activity to magazine pictures.
During this lesson, you will learn how to introduce yourself to others and to provide basic information about you.
Introduction:
We will sing the song " Hola, mi nombre es...... ¿cual es el tuyo?". Then, we will read and practice pronunciation of basic greeting questions such as: ¿cuál es tu nombre?, ¿ de dónde eres?, ¿cuántos años tienes?, ¿cómo estás?. Secondly, we will match the written questions in Spanish and English on a worksheet.
¿cuál es tu nombre? What is your name?
¿ de dónde eres? Where are you from?
¿cuántos años tienes? How old are you?
¿cómo estás? How are you?
After matching we will practice the appropriate answers to these questions by writing the answers on a paper and also taking turns asking/ answering them between us.
¿cuál es tu nombre? Mi nombre es....(Laura)
¿ de dónde eres? Yo soy de......(Venezuela)
¿cuántos años tienes? Yo tengo.....(5 años)
¿cómo estás? Yo estoy......(feliz)
Once the knowledge is acquired, we will create a paper puppet ( or several depending on the time that takes to make each of them) The paper puppet will represent a different character than the student. In this way, we will practice greetings in Spanish in different scenarios.
I will suggest to the parents to keep using this puppet and to create more in order to keep practicing and to consolidate the knowledge about the lesson.
