Prepositions of Time and Place

Lesson Length: 45 minutes
Main Objective: Students will be able to correctly use common prepositions of time (in, on, at) and place (in, on, at, next to, between, behind, in front of, under, above, opposite) in speaking and writing.

1. Warm-up (5 minutes)

Objective: Activate prior knowledge.

Ask students:

• Where are you now?
• What time do you usually wake up?
• Where is your phone?
• When is your birthday?

Write a few answers on the board without correcting them immediately.

Example:

• I wake up at 7:00.
• My birthday is in July.
