Would you like to learn some basic Japanese before visiting Japan? Or would you like to communicate more easily with Japanese friends or colleagues? This lesson pack is a great place to start!
This pack includes 3 lessons designed to help beginners build a practical foundation in Japanese and to master elementary converstaion.

In these lessons, we will use materials that I have prepared and successfully used with my students for many years.
I will also share helpful tips on how to study Japanese in an effective and meaningful way, point out common pitfalls, and introduce you to basic Japanese etiquette, such as giving and receiving gifts, dos and don’ts when visiting a Japanese household, and some places in Japan that are especially worth visiting.
This lesson pack is designed as a gentle introduction to practical Japanese for beginners.
