Kurspaket Inhalt

- This is a lesson pack of 4 lessons in total. When you send the request for the first lesson, points for all 4 lessons will be deducted at once.
- Once the tutor confirms the first request, “100% OFF coupons” that can be used for the remaining 3 requests will be issued automatically.
- You can use these coupons to send requests for the remaining lessons.
- The validity period for this lesson pack is 30 days starting from the scheduled date and time of the first confirmed lesson.

Even if the first scheduled lesson is canceled, the already set validity period will not change.

Kursinhalt

Coronavirus is on everyones minds at the moment so why not learn and talk about it. This package is for intermediate, post intermediate, and advanced English students. 

Each lesson is mainly conversation based, however there are 4 topic areas, some skills in describing situations, using vocabulary and some simple grammar tips (if wanted) as listed:
  1. What's a virus? What's a pandemic? How is it different to a normal cold? How long will it last. This session addresses some terminology to describe the virus and it's spread across the globe? You express your understanding of the virus, the situation, whilst addressing some language terms, including using some simple future (e.g. will and might) language for making predictions.

  2. What's happening at work? how is it impacting your worklife? What other  issues are there for you, your colleagues and company. In this session we will predict and identify some language to use for describing behaviour at work.  What are people doing, feeling, and saying in order to respond to the situation. 
  3. What's happening at home and what are you doing to address the situation. This session allows you to express concerns, and actions that allow you to respond and cope with the current situation. You will describe our new daily routines but also share 1 or 2 stories about your recent experiences.
  4.  This session is a student's choice session. For example, you might like to discuss how your politicians in Japan are responding to the virus, or discuss how different friends or colleagues are "dealing with" the situation.

Cancellation of pack lessons

• 'Unstarted' lesson packs(1) can be cancelled any time. Used Points will be completely refunded. If a 'started' lesson pack(2) is cancelled, you will be refunded 50% of the price of the remaining lessons provided that the lessons are unrequested, unconfirmed or not within 24 hours of their scheduled start times.
(1) A lesson pack for which none of the requests have been confirmed by the tutor.
(2) A lesson pack with at least one confirmed request. (By confirming the date and time for the first lesson in the pack the tutor confirms the pack as a whole and coupons are automatically issued)

Cancelling individual requests in a pack

• If you wish to cancel a single lesson that belongs to a pack but not the whole pack, you can do so via the request page. In this case, the coupon used to book the lesson will either be refunded or collected, based on the tutors single-lesson cancellation policy. Please note that any 50% partial refunds in the tutors single-lesson cancellation policy do not apply to lesson packs and the tutor may choose to either refund or collect the coupon in those cases.

  • Weniger als 24 Stunden vor Kursbeginn→ Stornogebühren können anfallen.
  • No-Show→ Stornogebühren können anfallen.
