Discussing movies and various aspects surrounding them

A huge fan of films? Like chatting about movies with friends or acquaintances after you see them? Want to improve your speaking and expressions and ability to retell stories and describe plots? This is the perfect class for you.
In this class we will talk all about film, and television to some degree if you like, and help you improve your ability to describe movies, including plot, characters, special effects, setting, and many other aspects. The class will be centered on having a fun and detailed discussion about recent movies you have seen, which you will be able to describe to me and answer lots of questions about. It can also be about comparing films at times, and why you preferred the first film to the sequel, for example. If you let me know in advance before the lesson, I can update myself on a movie I haven't seen yet, and then we can have a long and engaging discussion about the film you would like to discuss.
Before the lesson: We will have a brief exchange in messages about what kinds of films you are interested in, as well as which film, if you have one, you would specifically like to discuss in the coming lesson. Once we establish this, we will have lots of new aspects and specific vocabulary and film aspects to discuss regarding the film or multiple films in the lesson.
Example discussion: Just watched Parasite, the incredible genre-bending masterpiece from Korean director Bong Joon-ho? Well let's discuss the movie and the many themes and social commentary that can be found in it. We will enjoy a broad and thought-provoking discussion about this film where you can use lots of new vocabulary and descriptive phrases, as well as try to describe to me your favorite or least favorite aspects of the film and why.
