Kursinhalt

As i lived in Japan for 4 years I have some understanding of Japanese people and their difficult relationship with the English language.

The reason is that many Japanese people are trained to feel inferior. This is not my personal opinion, but supported by a recent TV program organized by Commentator Akira Ikegami.

When you have inferiority complex, it is no easy job for someone to lift it. A teacher has two jobs to 1) teach something and 2) lift the inferior complex. The second one is more difficult than the first one.

So, many Japanese people have the inferior complex that they do not speak English.

This is where a kind, friendly, approachable and knowledgable teacher such as myself comes into play.  I want to start from the beginning and build a solid foundation for you based upon vocabulary, use of vocabulary in the right context, correction pronunciation and regular practice of the new words in a real-time conversation slowly guiding you towards confidence and correct use at the same time.

Starting at the beginning each class will structured on basic day to day things we do. Once these have been mastered we will move on to more advanced topics corresponding to the level of the student.

Week 1 Classes

Greetings and Personal Information Objectives –

Students will: introduce themselves and each other answer questions about basic information (name, address, phone number, native country), use the alphabet and numbers to count items and to provide addresses and telephone numbers, use singular pronouns and begin to use the verb to be and the contraction it’s for it is.

The above is an example of what the classes will be based upon and each class will be tailored to the uniqueness of each student.

Please note : making a mistake is not wrong and it is part of the learning process, don't be shy or afraid of making a mistake, what is wrong is making a mistake and not learning from the mistake.
