You will need a photo of yourself, an A3 sheet of paper, a pencil and colored markers or pencils
10 minute Introduction
The student and myself will present ourselves briefly.
Ask the student what their drawing and art experience is.
Find out if the student has the materials required above.
15 minutes Desires & Wishes Vocabulary
Prompt student to tell me what their goals are. (short-term & long-term)
Read a short text about the importance of creating a Vision Board.
Write down new vocabulary.
Simple comprehension questions.
Image including helpful vocabulary & phrases that can be used as part of the Vision Board.
Take notes of key vocabulary.
15 minutes Drawing our Vision Board
The student and I will draw how we visualize our future
around our photo placed in the center of the page.
Student comments on their ideas & can ask for guidance through the process.
10 minutes Describing our Picture
Tell me about your drawing
Write a summary describing your drawing
10 minute Questions and Feedback Time
How do you feel?
Did you enjoy the session?
Do you have any questions? / recommendations?
Optional Homework
Write a summary for next lesson about what you learned during the class.
