Even if the first scheduled lesson is canceled, the already set validity period will not change.

Step into a world of horror, ghost stories, supernatural legends, true crime, mysterious events, and chilling tales from around the world. Every lesson is a chance to explore the unknown while improving your English in a fun and engaging way.

The level of fear is your choice. Whether you enjoy a light, spooky story or something darker and more unsettling, each lesson will be based on your personal preference.

This lesson includes: Horror stories, Ghost stories, Scary tales, Supernatural legends, True crime, Mysterious events, Folklore, urban legends, and unexplained mysteries.

Who is this lesson for? Learners of all English levels, from Beginner to Advanced, anyone who enjoys mystery, suspense, and the unknown.

Recommended for ages 18+ due to the nature of some topics

Practice your reading, listening, speaking, and vocabulary through stories that spark curiosity and conversation. Every lesson offers something different, and you never know what mystery you will uncover next.

This tutor's cancellation policy

Cancellation of pack lessons

• 'Unstarted' lesson packs(1) can be cancelled any time. Used Points will be completely refunded. If a 'started' lesson pack(2) is cancelled, you will be refunded 50% of the price of the remaining lessons provided that the lessons are unrequested, unconfirmed or not within 24 hours of their scheduled start times.
(1) A lesson pack for which none of the requests have been confirmed by the tutor.
(2) A lesson pack with at least one confirmed request. (By confirming the date and time for the first lesson in the pack the tutor confirms the pack as a whole and coupons are automatically issued)

Cancelling individual requests in a pack

• If you wish to cancel a single lesson that belongs to a pack but not the whole pack, you can do so via the request page. In this case, the coupon used to book the lesson will either be refunded or collected, based on the tutors single-lesson cancellation policy. Please note that any 50% partial refunds in the tutors single-lesson cancellation policy do not apply to lesson packs and the tutor may choose to either refund or collect the coupon in those cases.

This lesson is “Immediately Confirmed”

If the requested date falls within 30 days, the request will be “confirmed” immediately without having to wait for the tutor to reply.

Requests will be confirmed immdiately expect the first one of a pack. If confirmed immediately, the policy “before request is confirmed” will not apply.

About “Immediate Confirmation”

Before request is confirmed (fixed)

  • Cancellation possible at any time without charge.

After request is confirmed (fixed)

  • Less than 2hours before lesson start time.→ 50% of price charged.
  • No-Show→ 100% of price charged.
