The Happy Prince by Oscar Wilde.
The Happy Prince and Other Tales is a collection of stories for children by Oscar Wilde first published in May 1888.
“The Happy Prince,” by Oscar Wilde is about an initially self-centered Swallow, who on his hunt for shelter for the night meets the statue of The Happy Prince, as he settled down at his feet. ... Most people see the relationship formed between the Swallow and the Happy Prince as making both characters less selfish.
This literature series of lessons is for children, teenagers and adults.
