Verbal brainstorming.

Description

This lesson is dedicated to the mind-map exercise. I would recommend beginning with my introductory lesson to establish the teacher-student relationship. If you have yet to be introduced to the mind-map, or verbal brainstorming exercise, I'd be happy to teach you its structure in this lesson as well.

Lesson Objectives:

  1. Establish the structure of the mind-map exercise.
  2. Find a topic of interest to begin with.
  3. Alternate between simple (1-2 words) interconnected ideas between the student and teacher.
  4. Provide additional details to each idea orally.
  5. Assign a related research question based on mutual interest.
Lesson Goals:
  • Find a comfortable understanding about the mind-map thought exercise.
  • Inquire and elaborate upon topics of interest between student and teacher.
  • Provide some additional research assignments to progress in the chosen topic.
