Practice speaking about sustainability to gain confidence and knowledge

BACKGROUND
I have been working in sustainability for nearly 20 years!
Sustainability targets are now part of all company activities and culture.
It is a big topic of conversation worldwide.
Large international companies require that their suppliers can speak knowledgeably about their sustainability policies.
In international business you need to be comfortable talking about the sustainability policies of your company because this topic can come up any time.
LESSON FORMAT
In this 30 minute lesson, we will have a conversation in English about 2-4 sustainability topics.
I will ask you some questions, listen to your answers and help you to improve your answers by practicing further discussion.
If you cannot answer any question, it's OK. We can work out suitable answers for your situation so you can practice after the lesson.
OUTCOMES
I will help to build your knowledge and confidence for the future.
I will identify some area for improvement
I will help you with model answers and comments
You will gain confidence in speaking in English about sustainability topics in different business environments.
TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION (to be decided at the start):
- Recycling and waste reduction at your company
- Energy Transition
- ESG Reporting
- Government Policies (e.g. Japan, USA, China)
- or a sustainability topic of your choice, (for example biodiversity or human rights)
TARGET USERS
The lesson content and approach is designed for business people who need to improve their ability and confidence to speak in English about sustainability topics.
Age range: early 20s and upwards (there is no upper age limit)
Experience: Ideally you have worked for a company for 2+ years.
English language level: Intermediate to advanced.
Number of users: Ideally the lesson will be on a one-to-one basis. But there is some flexibility if you would like to attend in a small group of 2-4 people.
