Lesson Plan:
Warm-up (5 minutes):
Greet the student and ask "How are you?"
Play a fun food-themed song or video to get the student moving and engaged.
Vocabulary (10 minutes):
Show the student pictures or flashcards of different foods and say the names in English (e.g., "This is an apple.").
Ask the student to repeat the food names after you.
Use simple questions like "What's this?" or "What food is this?" to encourage the student to respond.
Conversation (10 minutes):
Ask the student questions about their favorite food, such as:
- "What's your favorite food?"
- "Do you like pizza?"
- "What's your favorite fruit?"
Encourage the student to respond using simple sentences or phrases (e.g., "I like apples!").
Wrap-up and play a Game (5 minutes):
Play a simple food-themed game, such as "Food Memory Match" (matching food pictures) or” What am I game?”
Use English instructions and vocabulary to play the game.
Review the food vocabulary and phrases learned during the lesson.
Encourage the student to practice their English before the next lesson.
