Materials:
Pictures or flashcards of different animals (e.g., cat, dog, elephant, monkey)
A simple storybook or video about animals (optional)
Lesson Plan: - Warm-up (5 minutes):
Greet the student and ask "How are you?"
Play a fun animal song or video to get the student moving and engaged.
Vocabulary (10 minutes):
Show the student pictures or flashcards of different animals and say the names in English (e.g., "This is a cat.").
Ask the student to repeat the animal names after you.
Use simple questions like "What's this?" or "What animal is this?" to encourage the student to respond.
Conversation (10 minutes):
Ask the student questions about their favorite animal, such as:
- "What's your favorite animal?"
- "Do you like dogs?"
- "What sound does a cat make?"
Encourage the student to respond using simple sentences or phrases (e.g., "I like dogs!").
Game (5 minutes):
Play a simple game of "Simon Says"
Use English instructions and vocabulary to play the game.
