As a teacher, I find that English through Cartoons or Movies is an excellent method to help students improve their language skills. This approach allows students to learn English in an enjoyable and engaging way while providing exposure to authentic English language use.
During a typical lesson, I choose a video that is appropriate for the student's level and interests and then use it as a basis for various language activities. While watching the video, I encourage my students to pay attention to new vocabulary and idiomatic expressions that are used in the video. Afterward, we engage in various language activities that are based on the video, such as discussion questions, vocabulary exercises, and grammar exercises.
I believe that this teaching method is highly effective in improving students' listening and speaking skills, as it provides them with a fun and engaging way to learn English. Additionally, students are exposed to authentic language use, which helps them to better understand and use English in real-life situations.
