Thanks to the success of tv-series and movies like "Gomorra", I'm often asked how is Naples, if what people see on tv is what happens in the streets, if that "fun dialect" is what we use to talk among us (spoiler: yes it is).
Naples has become one of the most sought after tourist destinations in the world. Yet only someone like me who lives it, loves it, breathes it can tell you everything about how it is for real, no lies!
Sadly there's still a lot of stereotypes and bad press. The Naples they talk about is not the Naples we see every day. Let me debunk that!
If you want to know our traditions ('o cafe', how we make it, how we drink it, how it's a cultural thing in our society), our dialect (ce divertimmo, cumpa'!), or maybe our culture, also the hidden gems (ever heard of our "Capuzzelle"?), you're in the right place.
Let me walk you through Napoli, virtually. The city I love. My hometown.
