Summarize 3 News Articles You Select!

Featuring casual, friendly English conversation in a discussion and analysis session with three selected news articles about varying topics. Students may choose any three news artcles they wish to present from English or Japanese sources, provided the student can confidently summarize for me in English what articles in other languages are saying.
If the student has any learning disabilities or needs accommodations, please let me know and I will adjust the lesson plan accordingly! My approach is to specialize in helping those with various learning difficulties. I am happy to accommodate different learning styles.
This style of teaching drill is good for beginners and intermediate speakers, and it helps promote student confidence.
For new students:
The first 5-minute block is dedicated to establishing a suitable lesson plan for the student going forward and includes a brief explanation of the lesson format.
For returning students:
The first 5-minute block is reserved for review material from the previous lesson. The next three 5-minute blocks cover the three articles (or excerpts) that the student has selected to summarize. The fifth and final 5-minute block is reserved for assigning homework that meets the student's needs.
