Prepare for a conference, seminar, research presentation, thesis defence, viva, or academic interview with targeted one-to-one coaching.

This lesson is for researchers, doctoral students, postdoctoral fellows, and academics who need to explain complex work clearly to an English-speaking audience. We will focus on the language and delivery of your research rather than generic academic-English exercises.

Possible areas of focus:

  • Rehearse an upcoming presentation

  • Practise explaining slides, data, or a proposal

  • Prepare for a client, partner, or executive meeting

  • Simulate questions and answers

  • Improve how you explain complex ideas to non-specialists

  • Prepare for negotiation, feedback, or a difficult conversation

  • Build useful phrases for leadership and decision-making

You may upload slides, notes, a meeting agenda, or a short outline before the lesson. For best results, please book at least 24 hours before an important event.
