Lessons should generally be booked chronologically, meaning that the second lesson should be booked after the first, and so on.

This intensive 3-lesson IELTS preparation pack is designed for candidates taking either the Academic or General module who want fast, focused improvement. Across three 50-minute lessons, students will learn how the IELTS exam really works, how to respond confidently to different task types, and how to use language that meets band score criteria. The course focuses on practical strategies, common examiner expectations, and personalized feedback to help you sound more fluent, accurate, and well-organized under exam conditions. Ideal for learners who want clear guidance, targeted practice, and measurable progress in a short time.

The IELTS Speaking test consists of three parts, each assessing different aspects of spoken English. In Part 1, the examiner asks general questions about familiar topics such as work, studies, hometown, and daily routines. Candidates are expected to give natural, extended answers rather than short replies, showing basic fluency, clear pronunciation, and accurate use of simple grammar while developing their ideas with brief reasons or examples. Part 2 is the individual long turn, where the candidate receives a cue card and has one minute to prepare notes before speaking for one to two minutes without interruption. Here, examiners assess the ability to speak continuously, organize ideas logically, use a range of tenses appropriately, and support points with examples and details, while maintaining coherence and topic relevance. In Part 3, the discussion becomes more abstract and analytical, with questions related to the Part 2 topic that require candidates to express and justify opinions, compare ideas, explain causes and effects, and make predictions. In this final part, examiners expect more developed responses, greater grammatical range, and more precise vocabulary, along with clear organization and logical progression of ideas. Together, these three parts evaluate fluency and coherence, lexical resource, grammatical range and accuracy, and pronunciation under realistic exam conditions.

Cancellation of pack lessons

• 'Unstarted' lesson packs⁽¹⁾ can be cancelled any time. Used Points will be completely refunded. If a 'started' lesson pack⁽²⁾ is cancelled, you will be refunded 50% of the price of the remaining lessons provided that the lessons are unrequested, unconfirmed or not within 24 hours of their scheduled start times.

(1) A lesson pack for which none of the requests have been confirmed by the tutor.
(2) A lesson pack with at least one confirmed request. (By confirming the date and time for the first lesson in the pack the tutor confirms the pack as a whole and coupons are automatically issued)

Cancelling individual requests in a pack

• If you wish to cancel a single lesson that belongs to a pack but not the whole pack, you can do so via the request page. In this case, the coupon used to book the lesson will either be refunded or collected, based on the tutors single-lesson cancellation policy. Please note that any 50% partial refunds in the tutors single-lesson cancellation policy do not apply to lesson packs and the tutor may choose to either refund or collect the coupon in those cases.
