Food is as precious as it is rich in culture, flavor and pleasure
Food is one of the greatest pleasures in life. It is evidenced by the frequency with which we eat during a day. There are three (3) basic meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner. In addition to these, there are habits like brunch, afternoon tea coffee or tea breaks, and snacks such as sweets, donuts, cakes, cheese or meat pies and a long diversity of interim meals. The selection of dishes is immense and further enriched by the variety of cultures and their respective cuisines. As much as we enjoy life, we enjoy food and develop eating habits. Our planet Earth is a gift to us because it abundantly provides all the necessary goods not only for sustaining ourselves but also for indulging into life's pleasures. Apart from being a massive business sector, the food industry caters for people's preferences and tastes. The reputation of professional cooking in recent years has become as spectacular as the continuous publicity it receives. There is no TV channel in the world that hasn't incorporated a cooking program for its audience. Cooking competitions, such as Masterchef, have become extremely popular, attracting millions of viewers around the world. Needless to say, a lot of chefs have become as popular and famous as movie stars and singers. Recipe books are published daily in thousands and are widely recognized by the public. Food, in general, can have either a plus or minus sign in terms of quality. Nowadays, a lot of people, especially the young, are used to eating fast food, which is known for its poor quality. On the other hand, many people eat in excess, resulting in problems with overweight and obesity. Both examples lead to sickness, dependence, or addiction.

c. The selection as well as quality and quantity of food is crucial for our health and well-being
d. Food is connected with our social status and lifestyle (restaurants, clubs, pubs, fast food shops etc)
2. Skills covered
Vocabulary and grammar drills for practicing oral skills. Some exercices to enable students express their opinions and views on the topic. Creating sentences with new vocabulary. Writing 3 sentences each student about food and recipes.
3. Methodology
My teaching style is full of understanding for different cultures, habits and personal backgrounds. Lessons are tailorod and customised to the needs and goals of students. To establish effective communication is absolute priority. Students are the main actors and protagonists and I feel great joy to help them overcome their inhibitions to start speaking.
4. Our target audience
Everybody is eligible to join our class provided he/she has a desire to improve their language speaking skills. Being a teacher who hasn't yet stopped learning and studying languages I can better understand their hesitation and inhibition to start speaking. Our class is open for all ages, students, young learners, professionals, businessmen, professors and advanced learners.
5. General feedback
Feedback is essential for learning. I place particular importance of the constructive effects of feedback. Mistakes will diminish or vanish when students take advantage of their teacher's feedback. You only learn from feedback, if you check out and apply the effect of it through crafting compeling sentences in context.
