Kurspaket Inhalt

- This is a lesson pack of 10 lessons in total. When you send the request for the first lesson, points for all 10 lessons will be deducted at once.
- Once the tutor confirms the first request, “100% OFF coupons” that can be used for the remaining 9 requests will be issued automatically.
- You can use these coupons to send requests for the remaining lessons.
- The validity period for this lesson pack is 60 days starting from the scheduled date and time of the first confirmed lesson.

Even if the first scheduled lesson is canceled, the already set validity period will not change.

Kursinhalt

Each lesson in this pack is a friendly debate on a topic we choose together. Before or at the start of each lesson, we'll pick something interesting to talk about. It can be serious, funny, or anywhere in between. I'll give us each a side, and then we go for it.
 
Our goal isn't to win. It's to practice forming and defending your ideas out loud in English. I'll push back, ask follow-up questions, and keep things moving. If you get stuck, we'll slow down, work through it, and talk about how to say what you're trying to say.
 
Why take it as a pack?
 
Quick thinking in a second language takes practice over time, not just one conversation. Over the pack, I'll:
 
- Start with lighter, fun topics and move toward deeper ones as you get more comfortable
- Sometimes have you argue the side you don't agree with, one of the best ways to stretch your thinking and vocabulary
- Help you build your own toolkit of natural phrases for agreeing, disagreeing politely, buying time to think, and changing someone's mind
- Send you a short note after each lesson with the useful expressions we used, so you can bring them into the next debate
- Point out patterns in how you speak, so you can see your progress from lesson to lesson
 
This pack is best for learners who are already comfortable with English but want to get sharper at expressing opinions and thinking quickly in conversation. You don't need to know a lot about the topics going in! Half the fun is figuring out what you actually think as we talk.
 
What we'll work on: spoken fluency, opinion-building, vocabulary for agreeing and disagreeing, and the kind of back-and-forth that comes up all the time in real English conversations, at work, with friends, and everywhere else.
 
This won't feel like a formal debate. Think of it more like two people having a lively, honest conversation. There are no wrong answers, and getting your point across matters way more than being grammatically perfect.

Cancellation of pack lessons

• 'Unstarted' lesson packs(1) can be cancelled any time. Used Points will be completely refunded. If a 'started' lesson pack(2) is cancelled, you will be refunded 50% of the price of the remaining lessons provided that the lessons are unrequested, unconfirmed or not within 24 hours of their scheduled start times.
(1) A lesson pack for which none of the requests have been confirmed by the tutor.
(2) A lesson pack with at least one confirmed request. (By confirming the date and time for the first lesson in the pack the tutor confirms the pack as a whole and coupons are automatically issued)

Cancelling individual requests in a pack

• If you wish to cancel a single lesson that belongs to a pack but not the whole pack, you can do so via the request page. In this case, the coupon used to book the lesson will either be refunded or collected, based on the tutors single-lesson cancellation policy. Please note that any 50% partial refunds in the tutors single-lesson cancellation policy do not apply to lesson packs and the tutor may choose to either refund or collect the coupon in those cases.
