Three Statements. One Lie. Endless Conversation.

Two Truths and a Lie is a lively conversation class designed to build speaking confidence, question-making skills, and natural interaction in English. Each participant prepares three statements about themselves—two true and one false. During the activity, we will act as “language detectives,” asking questions, digging for clues, and trying to identify which statement is the lie.
This class is easy to understand, quick to set up, and perfect for ESOL learners of all levels. The focus isn’t on winning—it’s on communicating. Students practice forming both yes/no and open-ended questions, and may hopefully even go beyond the three statements to stimulate real conversation!! I look forward to lying with you in the future!
