Keeping up with the news is a great way to expand your English vocabulary and develop your ability to discuss real-world topics with confidence.
In this 25-minute conversation lesson, we will use news and current events as a starting point for meaningful conversation. You will learn useful expressions for describing events, explaining what happened, sharing your opinions, and responding naturally to different perspectives.
During the lesson, you will:

For example, you may learn how to say “According to the report…” when referring to information from a news story.
