"Once Upon a Time..." (Dictation - 50 mins)
Let's create a story together! I'll read sentences from a short story out loud and you will write them down. Then, you will arrange the sentences in order to create a story.

Dictation is a great way to practice listening and writing skills.
In this fun and casual lesson, I will dictate (say out loud) 6-10 sentences. Each sentence is part of a short story. As I dictate the sentences, you will write them down. I'll correct you as we go and explain any new vocabulary. At the end, you will try to arrange the sentences in the correct order to form the story!
I can match the story to your level. If you are a beginner, the story will be short and simple. If you are an intermediate or advanced learner, then the story will be longer and a little bit more challenging.
Here is a short and easy example:
① But then, the rabbit fell asleep on the road.
② When the race started, the rabbit quickly ran ahead of the turtle.
③ One day, the rabbit and the turtle decided to race.
④ The rabbit was fast and the turtle was slow, so the rabbit felt confident that he would win.
⑤ So, the turtle passed the rabbit and won the race!
The correct order here is ③→④→②→①→⑤
If you have a preferred topic you can tell me and I'll try to find a story that matches it. Otherwise, I will choose one for us!
