Hi everyone! I’m Malachi. I’m a native English speaker, and I lived in Japan for a total of 10 years.

In this lesson, we won't be using any rigid textbooks, boring grammar drills, or dry lectures. Instead, your child will practice Japanese in a completely relaxed, low-pressure environment—just like chatting casually with a friend!

We will focus on things they actually care about. We can talk about their favorite hobbies, video games, toys, what they did at school, junior high, or kindergarten, or what foods they love. Through these fun topics, they will get comfortable hearing and speaking real Japanese.

Since English is my native language, I know exactly how to guide beginner students without making them feel overwhelmed. If your child gets shy, confused, or stuck, I can instantly support and encourage them in English to keep their confidence high.

This tutor's cancellation policy

This lesson is “Immediately Confirmed”

If the requested date falls within 30 days, the request will be “confirmed” immediately without having to wait for the tutor to reply.

The policy “before request is confirmed” will not apply to requests that are confirmed immediately.

About “Immediate Confirmation”

Before request is confirmed (fixed)

  • Cancellation possible at any time without charge.

After request is confirmed (fixed)

  • Less than 24hours before lesson start time.→ 50% of price charged.
  • No-Show→ 100% of price charged.
