In this lesson, we go beyond the basics and focus on the art of performing as a singing pianist.
You'll learn how to:
- Express groove and tempo with your piano playing
- Express rhythmic feel through your vocal phrasing
- Support your voice with minimal but meaningful piano parts
- Use dynamics (loud and soft) and contrasts to make music interesting
- Make the song rise and fall with its musical melody and meaning
- Immerse yourself in the lyrics and the story behind the song
- Learn when less is more
