I specialize in teaching conversational Japanese to beginners.

In my lessons, you will learn new vocabulary and grammar step by step, in a clear and enjoyable way, with easy-to-understand explanations and plenty of opportunities to practice speaking.

I want you to understand how Japanese works, learn to build your own sentences, and become able to express your thoughts in Japanese.

I believe learning should be both effective and enjoyable. You don't need to be afraid of making mistakes!

I will patiently support you as you develop your skills and confidence, one step at a time.

I have helped students in Brazil and Japan successfully pass the JLPT N2. If you are preparing for the JLPT, I would be happy to help you, too!

Japanese Language and Culture

When I was teaching Japanese in Brazil, one of my students found keigo (honorific and humble expressions) so difficult that she even considered giving up learning Japanese.

So, I used the Japanese tea ceremony to explain the beauty and cultural meaning behind these expressions.

She was deeply moved and said, "How beautiful! I'll keep studying!"

That experience reminded me once again how learning a language can broaden our horizons and enrich our lives.

Portuguese also has beautiful expressions that don't exist in Japanese, doesn't it?

I love Japanese culture and continue to practice the tea ceremony and ikebana (Japanese flower arrangement).
