Hello, everyone! I'm Mami, and I live in Nagoya, Japan.
I have taught Japanese to both children and adults in Brazil and Japan. In Australia, I also had the opportunity to introduce Japanese culture in public schools.
After returning to Japan, I worked as an English teacher at junior and senior high schools. Later, I taught Japanese to elementary school children from international and multicultural backgrounds.
I also supported these children and their families with school life and everyday matters, including administrative procedures.
I love meeting people from different countries. I also want to share the beauty of Japan with others, and that's one of the reasons why I teach Japanese.
While living in Brazil, I learned to speak some Portuguese. My Portuguese isn't perfect, but through the language, I discovered the culture, history, and ways of thinking of the people.
This experience opened up a whole new world for me and enriched my life.
In the same way, I hope that people who find Japanese difficult will also discover the beauty of Japanese culture.
Through learning a language, I hope we can broaden our horizons and enrich our lives together.
