Introducing yourself & simple greetings
In this lesson, you'll learn common greetings, how to introduce yourself, and how to start simple conversations in English. Practice key phrases for different situations and gain confidence in making a great first impression!
Kursinhalt
The objective of this lesson is for students to learn how to introduce themselvers and ask for, as well as give, basic personal information. Students will practice using simple greetings and farewells.
This lesson is good for very beginners, who have just started learning english.
The lesson will flow like the following:
1. Students will start by getting comfortable and engaged with a warm up activity.
2. Students will learn simple phrases, with repitition and visual aids (a presentation). (eg. "Hello my name is [Name]")
3. Students will focus on vocabulary and grammar. Students will learn essential greetings, self-introduction, and basic verb forms.
4. Students will follow a script with the teacher, to practice. This is where the teacher will ensure that the correct pronunciation and vocabulary is being used.
5. The lesson will end with students reviewing the key phrases learnt. And students will write 5 sentences using the key phrases.
