This lesson is for those who have moved to Japan with their families.

✔ It’s hard to keep conversations going with other moms
Do any of these sound familiar?


From 2014 to 2019, I lived in Indonesia accompanying my husband on his overseas assignment. At that time, my children were still babies and toddlers. I personally experienced the anxiety of raising children and handling school procedures in a language I was not fully comfortable with.
Now, I am a mother of an elementary school student and a junior high school student in Japan.


I also worked in the HR department of multinational companies, where I supported expatriate employees and their families. I understand the basic processes of social insurance and company-related procedures.


In this lesson, we can work on:

・Bringing in actual school letters or notices
・Role-playing parent meetings or teacher conferences
・Practicing small talk with other parents
・Useful phrases for hospitals, city offices, and daily life
・Talking through the unique challenges of living abroad
We will focus on Japanese that is directly connected to your real life in Japan.


Even if you are still at a beginner level, that’s completely fine. I can support you in English whenever needed, so please feel comfortable joining.

The lesson is mainly conversation-based, but we will organize and practice the Japanese you truly need for daily life, step by step, so you can build confidence.

I hope your daily life in Japan becomes just a little more secure and comfortable.
