The aim of the course is primarily to familiarise students with the conventions and characteristics of IELTS writing. The secondary aim of the course is to put into practice these conventions and style.

IELTS Writing
Lessons contain important grammar structures, key vocabulary, writing exercises as well as helpful writing tips for IELTS Academic Writing Task 1 and 2.
Teaching Plan:
1. IELTS Writing Task 1: Exam Format and Outline. Writing Introductions for Line Graphs, Bar Charts and Pie Charts.
2. IELTS Writing Task 1: Writing Body Paragraphs for Line Graphs, Bar Charts and Pie Charts. Model Answer and Practice.
3. IELTS Writing Task 2: Exam Format and Outline. Writing Introductions for Agree or Disagree / Opinion Essays.
4. IELTS Writing Task 2: Writing Body Paragraphs for Agree or Disagree / Opinion Essays. Model Answer and Practice.
5. IELTS Writing Task 2: Writing Conclusions for Agree or Disagree / Opinion Essays. Model Answer and Practice.
6. IELTS Writing Task 1: Process Diagrams.
7. IELTS Writing Task 1: Maps and Multiple Graphs.
8. IELTS Writing Task 2: Advantages and Disadvantages.
9. IELTS Writing Task 2: Problem and Solutions.
10. IELTS Writing Task 2: Discuss Both Views or Discussion Essay.
