Lesson Pack Details

- This is a lesson pack of 10 lessons in total. When you send the request for the first lesson, points for all 10 lessons will be deducted at once.
- Once the tutor confirms the first request, “100% OFF coupons” that can be used for the remaining 9 requests will be issued automatically.
- You can use these coupons to send requests for the remaining lessons.
- The validity period for this lesson pack is 90 days starting from the scheduled date and time of the first confirmed lesson.

Even if the first scheduled lesson is canceled, the already set validity period will not change.

Description

This course is an affordable and flexible alternative to formal accent reduction classes which can be very expensive. 

We will train the mouth, jaw, and tongue to make the sounds of standard American English. It's technical re-training, so it requires patience, a positive attitude, and independent practice outside of class. Training English pronunciation requires a lot of repetition. 

The objective is to make your speech sound as close to native as possible. 

Accent Reduction & Pronunciation is great for all levels, even beginners. Actually, you should train pronunciation as early as you can, even before fluency if possible. The reason is, the more you practice incorrectly, the more difficult it becomes to re-train your habits later. 

This course includes initial and ongoing assessments to identify challenging sounds. It's perfect for anyone who wants to sound more native. 

Written feedback, resources, and corrections will be given and discussed during the lesson. No additional feedback will be provided using the after-class *CafeTalk feedback* format. 

This tutor's cancellation policy

Cancellation of pack lessons

• 'Unstarted' lesson packs(1) can be cancelled any time. Used Points will be completely refunded. If a 'started' lesson pack(2) is cancelled, you will be refunded 50% of the price of the remaining lessons provided that the lessons are unrequested, unconfirmed or not within 24 hours of their scheduled start times.
(1) A lesson pack for which none of the requests have been confirmed by the tutor.
(2) A lesson pack with at least one confirmed request. (By confirming the date and time for the first lesson in the pack the tutor confirms the pack as a whole and coupons are automatically issued)

Cancelling individual requests in a pack

• If you wish to cancel a single lesson that belongs to a pack but not the whole pack, you can do so via the request page. In this case, the coupon used to book the lesson will either be refunded or collected, based on the tutors single-lesson cancellation policy. Please note that any 50% partial refunds in the tutors single-lesson cancellation policy do not apply to lesson packs and the tutor may choose to either refund or collect the coupon in those cases.

Before request is confirmed (fixed)

  • Cancellation possible at any time without charge.

After request is confirmed (fixed)

  • Less than 1hours before lesson start time.→ 100% of price charged.
  • Between 1-12hours before lesson start time.→ 50% of price charged.
  • No-Show→ 100% of price charged.
