Picture Description Practice (40-minutes) - 絵を使った練習: 文法と語彙力を高めよう
This class will test and practice your ability to talk about a picture chosen for you. Learn new vocabulary and grammar as we cover different scenarios through pictures.

This lesson will improve your grammar , vocabulary and also strengthen fluency in speech as you describe scenarios in pictures I will show you. The picture may contain people and a place and activities.
Picture descriptions are a common task applied within various English proficiency testing exams such as the EIKEN and CELPIP, and certain oral exams of the English curriculum for primary or secondary schools. Describing pictures enables examiners to judge your ability to talk about a given topic in English.
By mastering the art of describing visual content effectively, you will not only excel in the test but also improve your overall communication skills in English.
Vocabularies are also easier to remember when they are matched with a visual, and especially for learners, if you did not already know the word to apply.
Recommended for adults looking at improving English speaking skills or high school , university students preparing for exams or anyone who wants to try English practice using a variety of learning tools.
We will be practising various techniques in class from:
- explaining and interpreting the picture
- applying and varying simple and complex sentences
- applying connectors and connectives
- getting our subject-verb agreement right
- applying the correct tenses and verbs
