What is Negotiating?

“Everything is a Negotiation” This is a series of lessons designed to prepare you for negotiating in English in your business and personal life. Throughout these lessons, we will review important language, techniques and skills to learn before negotiating in English. We will also examine certain tactics that your opponents may use at the negotiating table. The student will receive material for review before each lesson. We will work at the students' pace.

My name is Matt. I've been in Japan since 1990 and worked for several years at a large multinational corporation. My main responsibilities were business editing and teaching seminars on various English skills needed in the business world including negotiations. I now run an internet-based retail and marketing business which requires negotiating on a daily basis. I look forward to meeting you, Thank You, Matt
