Tonight, you enter a haunted house filled with strange creatures… 
Each room hides a grammar mystery. 
Solve them all to escape

Choose your character 
  • Witch
  • ghost
  • vampire
  • skeleton
Room 1
The ghost of Tenses 
The ghost has mixed up all the verb tenses.
 Fix the sentences to calm the spirit

Activity: Correct the tense mistakes.

Examples:
Yesterday I go to the shop and buy candy.
The monster is sleep every night at 3am.
I will saw a shadow behind me.

Unlock the door 

Fix this sentence to unlock the door:
The witch stir her potion while she add spider legs.

Room 2
The witches word cauldron
The witch’s spell is weak because her vocabulary is wrong.

Choose the correct words to complete her magic.

Activity: Multiple‑choice vocabulary challenge.

Examples:
The forest was (bright / eerie / cheerful).
A (whisper / shout / laugh) came from the dark corner.
The potion smelled (delicious / rotten / polite).

Build the spell

Task: 
Choose 3 spooky adjectives + 1 verb to “build a spell.” 

Example: glowing, sinister, ancient, swirling

Combine your words into a spell sentence.

Example: The witch created a glowing, ancient potion swirling with sinister energy.

Room 3
The vampire's sentence lab

The vampire scientist wants to upgrade your English. 
Transform simple sentences into stronger, more advanced ones.

Activity: Rewrite sentences using:
adverbs
descriptive phrases
connectors
stronger verbs

Examples:
The monster walked into the room.
I heard a noise.
The house was dark

Escape the laboratory 

Transform this sentence to escape:
I saw something in the hallway.

Final challenge:
The Skeleton Key 
Solve the final grammar riddle to unlock the exit.
Riddle:
I ___ (walk) through the haunted house when I suddenly ___ (hear) a scream.

YOU ESCAPED!!
Congratulations! 

You solved all the grammar mysteries and escaped the haunted house!!
