Kursinhalt

1. Warm-up (5 mins)
Casual chat: "What kind of music do you listen to? Do you know any British artists or bands?" 

2. Introduce the song (10 mins)
Pick a well-known British song with clear lyrics (e.g., Oasis "Wonderwall," The Beatles "Let It Be," Adele "Someone Like You," or Coldplay "Fix You" — something with everyday vocabulary and emotional expression). Play it once through, ask the student to catch as much as they can without the lyrics.

3. Lyrics breakdown (10 mins)
Give them the lyrics. Go through key phrases, idioms, or British expressions that appear (e.g., Oasis lyrics have some great colloquial phrasing).

4. Discussion (5 mins)
Ask about the song's meaning and get their opinion:

  • "What do you think this song is about?"
  • "How does it make you feel?"
  • "Do you have a similar song in your language? What's it about?
5. Wrap-up (5 mins)
Quick recap of new vocabulary/phrases learned. Optional homework: pick another British song, look up the lyrics, and note down 3 new words or phrases to discuss next lesson.
