Each style of writing is different from the other.  Those learning how to write essays will be taught how to present an argument, conduct research, and cite sources.  Articles for a popular audience will focus on how to present your subject in an exciting way.  Story writing will cover how to develop your plot and the voices of your characters.  

Whatever style you choose, this class will improve your writing.
