🧩 Communicative Task: Holiday Story Swap
Task:
 
The student and teacher will each choose one holiday experience to describe in detail (real or imagined). The student must tell the story using clear past tense narration, describe the setting, the people, what happened, and how they felt. After each story, the other person will ask 2 follow-up questions to find out more.
 
Teacher role:
 
Model the task first, ask follow-up questions, and support with vocabulary or structure as needed. At the end, give feedback on storytelling clarity, use of past tenses, and functional language.
