Lesson details
Letters, e-mails, online chats, writing documents... There are various situations where you need writing skills. Would you like to further improve your German skills and open the door to a deeper understanding?
In this lesson, I will proofread the document you prepared, explain for which reason I corrected certain parts, and give advice on how to find more beautiful expressions. With the experience of being in charge of a blogger group that has been broadcasting the news of Hokkaido in German for three years, I give students the expressive power to be mistaken for native. Interestingly enough, there are many German scholars with high writing skills who are not very confident in speaking in German, but whatever the level of German proficiency at the moment, during the lesson you will always be able to speak Japanese or English (or German) at any time. You can switch between German and Japanese as you wish and I make sure that you learn a lot and have fun all the way!
Perhaps some of the following thoughts have crossed your mind before:
"Even if I study with a book, the grammar of German is complicated and the documents I wrote are full of mistakes. I am not confident that I can send it without having them checked."
"I made a lot of friends during my stay in Germany, but now being back in my home country I really don't have the confidence to continue writing them since my German writing skills are not that good yet. Also returning a message that is full of mistakes is not want I want..."
"I may have an opportunity to use German for my work, but I am still not good at writing... I would like to be able to communicate freely in German someday as well."
Sure, German isn't an easy language, but you don't have to be hopeless here at all. If you study at about your own pace, occasionally communicate with natives, and receive corrections in the German you are writing, you will get there.
If you would like to focus on improving your ability, please let me be at your side to support you.
If possible, I would appreciate it if you could send us the documents you would like to have proofread one day before the lesson. I'm assuming that you will read it once at the beginning of the lesson, then I will make comments, explanations, and suggestions for corrections, but you can change the flow and content according to your wishes. I will do whatever possible to help you, so feel free to let me know what you think.
