Everyday English: Real Conversations in Social Situations
Detalles de la lección
Do you know what to say after “Nice to meet you”? Or how to naturally start talking when you unexpectedly meet an old friend?
In this practical two-lesson mini-unit, you'll practice the English people actually use in everyday social situations. Learn how to break the ice with someone new and catch up naturally with someone you already know.
We'll practice useful questions, follow-up expressions, reactions, invitations, and the difference between speaking with a new acquaintance and a close friend.
Lesson 1: Breaking the Ice — Start conversations naturally with new people at parties, social events, and gatherings.
Lesson 2: Catching Up — Reconnect with old friends, talk about what's new, and respond naturally to casual invitations.
No complicated grammar lectures—just practical speaking practice you can use in real life.
