Practice talking to a waitress and ordering off of a menu
레슨 상세 내용
Lesson will start with a greeting between teacher and student.
For this lesson we will practice speaking English in a restraunt setting. I will introduce the vocab and phrases that we will learn and practice using notecards and a sample menu.
"What can I get you to drink?"
Beverages
"Just water please"
Coffee
Iced tea
Lemonade
Soda
Etc...
"Can I take you order?"
Appetizers
Sides
Sandwhiches
Burgers
Soups
Desserts
"How is your meal?"
"Can I get you anything else?"
Making a payment
After introducing vocab, at students pace we will begin roleplay where student practices successfully communicating a restraunt order in English and then making a payment.
We will use a real menu sample for this lesson.
Depending on students vocab level we will take it slow and stay with a basic food order, or we will introduce a larger range or food items that would be found on a menu.
At the end we will reflect on which part of the communication (vocab, pronunciation, etc...) felt the easiest, and what was the most challenging and we will takes notes for future lessons.
