A discussion about current worldly events and how it impacts us and the rest of the world. We will expand our vocabulary, grammar, parts of speech and comprehension of the article.

With this styled lesson, a great opportunity exists to learn about current worldy events in English from various articles that are published around the world and how they are affecting us and the rest of the world. The articles could either be chosen by the student or tutor.
Topics can include new inventions and innovations, new discoveries in science and technology, events around the world that are causing markets to fluctuate, new trends and lifestyles, celebrities and famous sports people making headlines, etc.
The tutor will read the article first, while the student listens intently. Thereafter, the student will read the article while the tutor takes notes of all mispronounced words and phrases and give feedback and homework for student to practice.
We will learn new words, phrases and the pronunciation of these words and phrases, and which parts of speech they fall under. We will test our understanding of the article with a relaxed discussion about the article.
This method will allow you to confidently engage in conversational English at any level.
