Vocabulary for real-life situations
Description
Target:
Intermediate and advanced students
Intent:
Do you have a solid word bank to dive into when you are in real-life situations?
Are you "lost for words" when you visit the bank; stores; doctor, etc?
Perhaps you are in these situations all day, or perhaps you are planning to travel to places that might place you in these situations. Maybe you are using too much sign language to communicate your messages. Sign language is FUN, I agree, but hey, you need to improve your English, right!
Methodologies:
So, let's role-play together. That's more fun, and it will boost your self-confidence. You will also start to enjoy your experiences in these situations.
Below is a list of common, daily real-life situations. Choose 4 situations you would like us to role play in:
Bank
Doctor
Green Grocer
Butcher
Library
Supermarket
Pharmacist
Hair-dresser
Cafe/Restaurant
Clothing store
Materials:
Images depicting various real-life situations (tutor)
Share screen with terminology
You will be able to write down some new terminology and we can have a question and answer session for the last 10 minutes of the lesson.
