Describing people you know
Description
The lesson will begin by going over some basic vocabulary for family members such as: mother, father, sister, brother, son, daughter, grandmother, grandfather, uncle, aunt, neice, nephew, etc.
Next, the student will be asked about their family. For example, "How many people are in your family?" "Who do you live with?"
At this point, the student will be introduced to some vocabulary for describing people by both personality and physical appearance. Afterward, the student will be shown some pictures of people and asked to try and describe them.
The lesson will end with a discussion about families. The student will describe their family members and close friends. The teacher may also describe his family members while showing the student a photograph and see if they can guess who is who.
