Reading is one of the best ways to improve your English and expand your vocabulary, and children's books are a rich source of this vocabulary!

Join me as I read one of these funny picture books by Canadian author Robert Munsch: Smelly Socks, Makeup Mess, or Seeing Red.

Here is a description of each story, taken from the back of each book:
  • Smelly Socks: Tina loves her brand new socks so much, she's never, ever going to take them off! But when her wonderful socks start to get smelly, her friends have to take action...
  • Makeup Mess: Julie saves up all her money and uses it to buy an enormous box of makeup. She puts purple stuff on her eyes, green stuff on her cheeks, and black stuff on her mouth. She thinks she is as pretty as a movie star! Why don't her parents think so, too?
  • Seeing Red: Alex wants his hair to be just like his best friend Arie's. Arie promises to teach him the secret trick for turning black hair to red...but what kind of a trick is it?
In each lesson, we will read one of the stories and discuss the main ideas and new vocabulary.

Based on how you would most enjoy the story, I can do all the reading, you can do all the reading, or we can take turns!
