Class Overview
This class is designed for mid- to upper-elementary students who already have a foundation in English and are ready to think, speak, and read more deeply in the language.

Lessons focus on developing academic English skills while keeping classes engaging and age-appropriate. Students are encouraged to express ideas clearly, ask questions, and connect what they learn to the real world.
 
What We Do in Class
Each lesson follows a clear structure so students feel confident and know what to expect.
  • Warm-up conversation to activate background knowledge
  • Guided reading using Oxford texts
  • Vocabulary and language focus from the unit
  • Speaking activities to explain ideas and opinions
  • Simple critical thinking tasks such as comparing, predicting, or giving reasons
  • Short review and reflection at the end of the lesson
Lessons are interactive and supportive, with plenty of chances for the student to speak in complete sentences.
