This course is aimed at junior high and high school students wishing to become better and more competent English speakers. It will cover interesting topics and introduce vocabulary and grammar that will help students speak English effectively and independently. 

Students are asked to take a placement test to determine the level and coursebook that suits them best. 

This course will be based on top-notch resources, some of them being:

  • Cambridge Think

  • National Geographic Perspectives 
    Perspectives is a four-skills series that teaches learners to think critically and to develop the language skills they need to find their own voice in English. The carefully guided language lessons, real-world stories, and TED Talks motivate learners to think creatively and communicate effectively. In Perspectives, learners develop an open mind, a critical eye and a clear voice. Every unit explores one idea from different perspectives, encouraging learners to evaluate new information, develop their own opinions and ideas, and express those ideas confidently in English.
  • National Geographic Time Zones 

    Time Zones, Second Edition is a four-skills program designed to teach teenagers how to use English effectively, developing them into successful global citizens. It is a five-level program that uses amazing photography, videos, and inspiring stories to encourage teenage learners to explore the world in a different way. The books feature engaging real-world content that brings National Geographic Explorers and 21st-century topics into the classroom, as well as a National Geographic video in every unit, introducing amazing places, culture, and information from around the world. The communicative approach is used to offer students the opportunity to learn about and critically discuss global issues.
