News are reported differnly around the world. Let's read some together and practice English. News are also an excellent way of learning relevant expressions and vocabulary in a multitude of topics. Be it businees, Science or latest pop culture phenomena.
What will we do in this lesson:
Read an news article together and go through its vocabulary and garmmar.
discuss the topic at hand using some exrecises or discussion questions. Lastly compare the article to what is reported in your own country or news outlet.
Who is this lesson for:
Anyone who want to improve thier vocabulary and learn commonly used expressions written structures in the english language. Reading news articles is a great way to improve your own writing and ability use the english language.
What part do you practice in this lesson:
Reading: Improve your reading skill.
Comprehension: Improve your ability to understand and parse out the meaning of English idioms and expressions used in news reporting.
Speaking: By discussing and talking together about the news you will have a good opurtunity to improve and build up your ability to convey your thougts and ideas about a specific topic.
Feedback: After the lesson you will be given written feedback about todays lesson, new words and other tips tied to what we did today with Japanese translations of the words.
