This lesson is designed for adult learners who want to practice clear, thoughtful discussion while expanding vocabulary and improving listening skills.
During the lesson we will:
• read or watch a short news article or video clip
• review key vocabulary and useful expressions
• summarize the main ideas
• discuss the topic and share opinions in structured conversation
The lesson is interactive and guided, helping you practice expressing ideas clearly while engaging with interesting global topics.
After the lesson:
You will receive feedback on speaking clarity, vocabulary usage, and discussion skills, along with suggestions for further practice if desired. Students are welcome to continue discussing new articles in future lessons.
Materials and tools:
I can provide short news articles or clips from sources such as BBC or international news outlets. We may use screen sharing or the whiteboard to review vocabulary and key ideas. Students are also welcome to bring an article or topic they would like to discuss.
