How about talking about world news?
What are your areas of interest? Politics, economy, culture, finance, show business?
Are you a big fan of reading the news from all over the world? Which sources do you prefer? Do you choose to listen to the radio, youtube or you prefer traditional sources such as newspapers?
Do you usually share your thoughts with friends or family?
Are you interested in the British Monarchy? Formula One? Tennis tournaments? USA elections?
Let´s read and comment together.
If you love this idea...then this the right place for you.
You will be able to practise your English while we talk about some of the most commented news. We will discuss the parts involved, if you agree with them and what happened, what is your opinion on certain aspects and so on.
We will compare different moments in time, different places and the differences we encounter in similar environments.
Methodology applied: Reading together.
First we can have a small talk to get to know you and your interests. I will ask about your preferences and from that starting point I will recommend an article so that we can discuss the circumstances, facts and characters involved together.
Type of lesson: adapted to your personal choices
The lesson will be adapted to your needs and level of experience. In the first class you will be able to talk about you, what´s your idea of the class and where you would like to focus.
After discussing the news, I will provide the necesary corrections so that you´ll be able to practise and learn from your mistakes. If you prefer I can provide more details after the class.
The lesson wil be completely adapted to your choices and preferences.
The main idea is that you have a good time while you learn, so that you love staying on track.
Environment: Calm, relaxed atmosphere. No pressures from my part. We will move forward at your own pace.
If you prefer to switch off the camera, we can still practise together. If you prefer to chat we can do that too.
I´m a certified Celta Teacher and I´ll be more than happy to hear about you soon!
