The goal of this lesson is to use visual cues in order to generate conversation and learn or improve expression through visual thinking strategies.

I know, sounds pretty complicated, right? In fact, nothing can be simpler. Let me break it down.

At the start of each lesson, I'll show you a different image in order for you to describe what you see.

Some sample questions could be:

What's going on in the picture?
What are they doing?
Why do you think is happening?
Who are they?
Where was the picture taken?

Will you have the answers?

先生が最近珍しく？スタンバイされていてどんなレッスンをしているのかなとのぞき見したら、何やら”PuiPui”なるレッスンを提供していました。先生に冷やかしメールなどを送ってチャチャ入れていましたが（笑）、いつもお世話になっているCharles先生にお礼と思い、レギュラーレッスンで”PuiPui”特別レッスンをお願いしました！！羊毛フェルトで出来た（！）モルモット型のモルカー（中に運転手がいる！！）が繰り広げる、微笑ましい可愛いストーリーで、先生が一時停止しながら場面に関する質問をして下さり、辞書にも載っていないようないろいろな言い回しを教えて下さ...

このピクチャーディスクリプションも動画を使ったレッスンもチャールズ先生が選んでくださるものが送られてくるのが毎回とても楽しみです。誰からの予約でもストックしてある教材を順番に送れば先生ご自身は楽だと思います。実際そういう講師もおられます。しかし他の方の口コミを読んでも先生は1人1人の好みに合わせて選んでくださっているのことが分かります。カフェトーク以外でもパリにお住いの先生には対面で教えている生徒さんがいらっしゃるはずで、コロナ禍で日本より厳しい規制の中でオンラインで多くのレッスンをこなしておられると思います。ご多忙でストレスもあるでしょうが先生は常にレッスンの前後に心のこもったメッセージをくださいます。そして今年は特に私が楽しめるだけではなく癒されるような教材や動画を選んでくださいました。丁寧に添削をしてくださる上に提案やレッスン後の質問も受け付けてくださいます。前に他の講師から初回のレッスンの予約時のメッセージを読んでレベルを把握できたと言われたことがあります。それと同じように講師から送られてくるメッセージにはその講師の知性や人柄・熱意が表われると思います。猛暑だったりレッスン数が多かったりして例えほんの少し連絡が遅れたとしても、チャールズ先生から1度として事務的な素っ気ないメッセージを頂いたことはありません。英語講師としての経験と確かなスキルをお持ちなのでそれだけでレッスンを受ける価値はあります。しかしそれだけではない先生の幅広い知識と他国の文化への興味と理解、なによりも文面から溢れる優しさに触れられることが嬉しいです。

先生の写真のレッスンは何といっても写真が面白い！「え！？」というような写真から文化・イベントの写真など様々な写真を見せていただけます。文化・イベントに関しては先生が後から解説して下さり、いろいろな勉強にもなります。写真は大量にお持ちだというので飽きることはなさそうです(笑) また、先生はとっても話しやすくまた日本についてもいろいろお尋ねくださるので話がとってもしやすいです。生徒思いで、とても親身になって骨身を削って下さるような優しい先生です。この票は「レッスンに」というより「チャールズ先生」に1票です！
